Q: Does oral SOD actually get absorbed, or does stomach acid break it down? A: This is the most common question about SOD supplements, and it’s a fair one. I waited few weeks to write my initial observations. At the time of the purchase I did not take any other supplements, so I could easily evaluate before and after effect. First of all, capsules are easy to swallow and have no taste and especially no after taste like many others on the market. Per direction, I am taking 2 capsules a day with food. After few weeks, two definite improvements that I observed are my eyes and skin. I wear glasses all the time and my eyes get tired easily and become watery all the time. I noticed that by the end of the day that I no longer feel as tired in my eyes as before and definitely less tears. With the skin, I have less redness and less itchiness on my arms and legs. Those are two noticeable improvements I see. I will continue taking these supplements and will update my review based on long term results.
